Palmetto Bluff Wedding | Kayla and Garrett

Scott and I had the wonderful privilege of documenting Kayla and Garrett’s Palmetto Bluff wedding with the amazing team from Spencer Special Events. On Friday evening, guests arrived at Moreland Landing in restored vintage buses from Lowcountry Valet for an evening of oysters, low country favorites and custom cocktails to kick off an exciting wedding weekend ahead of them. It was a beautiful evening overlooking the marsh and relaxing to the stylings of Mike Kavanaugh Entertainment.

The following day, preparations for the bride and the groom took place in two separate cottages on the Palmetto Bluff property. The ladies of Karisma Salon did a wonderful job creating looks for Kayla and her bridesmaids. Kayla’s bridesmaids could barely hold back the tears as she revealed her fun and unique Hailey Paige wedding dress to them.

Kayla and Garrett’s wedding ceremony took place at the Chapel overlooking the water in the main village of the Wilson at Palmetto Bluff. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn thank you to the Little Brown Truck. As an homage to our bride and groom’s love of baseball, guests were encouraged to sign a real 3rd base that was used at the Colorado Rockies game that our bride and groom’s engagement took place. Our couple and their guests then made their way to the River Room where Spencer Special Events and A Floral Affair did and amazing job creating a spectacular venue that everyone adored. One element that had a lot of attention was the wedding cake that was created by the team from Palmetto Bluff that had a special touch on the top, a replica of their puppy holding a sign that said “I Do Too” from BabyCake Toppers.  Here is a sneak peek of their Palmetto Bluff Wedding.
